Summary: The Director of Sales will primarily be a hunter, pursuing new enterprise accounts. This is a senior level independent contributor position and will play a key role in growing Channelinsight's client base and further development of the sales organization. The right candidate for our Director position will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives and demonstrates strategic career growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas through effective development/management of sales cycle and pipeline activity.
- Work within an assigned region to increase product exposure, identify key market opportunities and develop business relationships with new clients.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key account decision makers.
- Understand product features, benefits and can communicate technical aspects in a basic and understandable manner.
- Work with customers to understand and identify their needs and objectives.
- Deliver persuasive and logical sales presentations to match products with identified needs.
- Maintain a full pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Responsible for full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements & Core Competencies:
- 7+ years software solution selling to the large High Technology OEM companies and/or SaaS space.
- Experience with software solution selling and navigating in Fortune 500 companies including the sales of software, professional services and the closing of complex contracts.
- Proven success identifying new business opportunities from "hunter" sales activities.
- Broad technical skills and awareness: Must have a strong passion for how technology can deliver real value for our Customers and Reporting Partners.
- Experience in a start-up, fast-paced, data-driven, and customer-focused environment also a plus.
- Proven ability to communicate complex solutions to a wide variety of decision-makers and interface with executive management, clients and staff at all levels.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
- Strong operational skills, experience and understanding.
- Experience in the channel industry a plus.
Required Education: Batchelors' Degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Business or related field.

Position: Director of Engineering (Click to apply)

Summary: The Director position will have a dual role of design/development work as well as overseeing a team of engineers. So if you love the hands on work but also enjoy leading and mentoring, this is the opportunity for you! This position will be responsible for delegating and reviewing work, leading daily standups as well as conducting regular performance reviews of individual team members. Our managers interact regularly with other business groups including Operations, Product Management, the Executive team and our Customers. We have a team of very talented, experienced professionals. All of our engineers have passed a challenging technical screening so joining this group will not only offer the opportunity to work on exciting projects but the ability to work amongst people you can share ideas with and learn from.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and write code for backend applications and UIs that run in a high-volume, low latency multi-tenant architecture.
- Work as a member of an Agile Software Development Team to help implement new functionality based on business requirements.
- Develop new programs and support existing programs in Linux and Windows environments.
- Interact with the Channelinsight business and operations teams and facilitate working through technical implementation and customer service issues.
- Performance test in a high-volume Internet infrastructure.
- Design and implement code using Java, Spring, ext.js, HTML with an Oracle datastore.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements & Core Competencies:
As part of the software development management team at Channelinsight, the Director works with the Manager of Quality Assurance, IT Technology, and DBA leads, defining and building software under the Agile methodology. The Director also indirectly works “with” the CEO, Director of Product Management, Vice President of WW Sales, Vice President of Operations, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Marketing Communications, in developing and building software with a team of junior and senior developers under the Agile methodology.
You will be required to develop a deep understanding of the Channelinsight Solution & Architecture on what features and functions need to be implemented into future versions of the product based on Product Management, Customer and Marketing feedback, as well as competitive solutions. Translate and direct senior engineering staff on those tasks under the standard Agile methodology (with weekly sprints and story boards provided by Product Management) and stand development project planning in various software tools used at Channelinsight (Jira, Zendesk, etc.).
Great communication skills for the team that is managed, interaction with peers, team mates, customers, prospects and management.
Technical support by his or her Engineering team includes:
- Detailed demonstrations internally and with Product Management of features and functions as defined in an Agile methodology (including weekly sprints, demonstrations to the team and programming based on storyboarding specifications from Product Management)
- A detailed understanding of the technology, current/future releases and related issues
- Assist in the answering both RFI’s and RFP’s for prospects and customers relating to technical and road map questions
- Provide architectural leadership for backend applications and UIs that run in a high-volume, low latency multi-tenant architecture
- Work as a leader of an Agile Software Development Team to implement new functionality based on business requirements
- Interact with the Channelinsight business and operations teams and facilitate working through technical implementation and customer service issues
- Conduct performance reviews with individual team members
- Assist with the interviewing and hiring of new engineers
- Design and implement code using Java, Spring, ext.js, HTML with an Oracle datastore\
Customer support by his or her Engineering team includes:
- Assisting in level 1,2 and 3 customer support problems and bug questions.
- Facilitate work arounds with the product for customers
- Assist in responding within 1 hour to a critical customer is down call
- Assist in responding within 24 hours to a customer with a workaround or fix
Required Education: Undergraduate Computer Science or MIS Degree, Masters work is a plus

Position: Tier One Support Specialist (Click to apply)

Summary: The Tier One Support Specialist performs extensive customer service communication and technical support based on individual customer needs. SQL, Excel, Outlook and a host of internal tools are used on a daily basis for compiling, filtering, sorting, reviewing, reporting and loading data. We are looking for someone who loves working with data, working with software and enjoys learning new technical skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for weekly/daily functional tasks, tracking of outputs and documentation/creation of processes.
- Monitor an email queue and convert any requests into support tickets daily.
- Interface with other members of the tier on support team to ensure timely, efficient, and quality service delivery to all customers.
- Understand data flow for all assigned customer.
- Work with other teams and departments to ensure efficient and optimized data processing and flow.
- Interface with the Operations, Engineering, QA, CSM and Partner On-boarding teams.
- Manage ad hoc requests from internal and external clients.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external clients and assist with identifying and resolving issues and needs.
- Work tier one tickets daily and escalated tickets as needed to tiers two or three daily.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements & Core Competencies:
- Ability to identify resources and find information.
- Ability to work without extensive direction or oversight.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, linked worksheets, formatting, editing, troubleshooting, pivots tables and graphs.
- Hours per week will be fairly standard but must be willing to work off hours as required.
- Must be willing to change shifts as 24/7 coverage is needed.
- Intermediate Microsoft XP/7, Outlook and Office Suite.
- Basic SQL required; PL/SQL knowledge a plus.
- Familiarity with a DBMS like Oracle or SQL Server a plus.
- Experience working with databases or in data processing environment a plus.
- Exposure and basic knowledge of a programming language required (Java a plus).
- Exposure and basic knowledge of a scripting language a plus.
- Exposure and basic knowledge of XML a plus.
